How it works

Four steps. No surprises.

  1. 01

    Call

Twenty minutes. You tell me what is not working. I tell you what it costs.

  2. 02

    Plan

Fixed scope, fixed price, fixed timeline. In writing.

  3. 03

    Build

You see the site on a private link before it goes live. Weekly updates.

  4. 04

    Launch and maintenance

You pick a hosting and maintenance plan before launch. I stay on, and the plan starts the day the site goes live.

In a hurry? Every build has a rush option: half the timeline for 50% over the build price. Same scope, same quality. Your project goes first. See rush timelines →

This is not for you if

  • You want the cheapest site possible.
  • You want rush speed at the regular price.
  • You would rather pay less now and rebuild in a year.
  • You want an order-taker, not an opinion.

And it is for you if

  • You want more of the clients you already like.
  • You want one person to call, not a ticket queue.
  • You want a site you are proud to put on a business card.

Who I build for

Established businesses in the North Okanagan.

Law firms and accounting offices. Health and dental clinics. Trades and home service companies. Farms and food brands that sell direct to the people who eat their food. Chambers and associations with a member list worth publishing. That is most of my client list.

What those businesses share is not the industry. It is the stage. The business already works. The phone already rings. The reputation took years. The website is five years old, went up in a hurry, and brings in the wrong calls or none at all.

That gap is the whole job. A site that matches the business you have now, so the people who should be calling you can find you and can tell in ten seconds that they are in the right place.

My office is in Armstrong, in the Chamber of Commerce space at the Odd Fellows Hall. Most clients are within an hour: Vernon, Enderby, Salmon Arm, and the farms and small towns in between. I know the market because I shop in it.

Local changes what gets built. Your clients search vernon lawyer or armstrong plumber. Nobody types best law firm. So the pages get written for the searches your neighbors make, and they get tied to your Google Business Profile, so the map result and the website back each other up instead of ignoring each other.

Somewhere else in BC? That works too. Video call, same process, same prices. See the Vernon and North Okanagan page or the Salmon Arm and Shuswap page.

Questions

Asked on almost every first call.

How much does a website cost?
A Template site starts at $2,025 if you have your words and photos ready. Custom builds start at $5,940 for a small practice that needs six solid pages. Most clients land around $12,000 for a fifteen page site with copywriting and local SEO. Large firms with a directory, a store, or forty pages start at $25,000. You get a fixed quote in writing before you pay anything.
How long does it take?
Three to four weeks for a small site. Six to eight for most. Ten to fourteen for a large one. Rush cuts any of those in half for 50% over the build price. The timeline holds as long as you hit the review dates, because the wait is almost always on approvals, not on code.
Do you only work in the North Okanagan?
No. Most clients are close to home and I like it that way. Anywhere else in BC works by video call. Same process, same pricing, same reply times.
What platform will my site be on?
WordPress for most businesses. Shopify or WooCommerce for stores. Squarespace when you want to do your own edits. Astro when the site is small and speed is the whole point. I pick what fits your business, and I tell you why.
You are one person. What happens if you are away?
Fair question. It is the real risk of hiring a studio of one, so here is the honest answer. The domain is always yours. Bring one you already own, or I help you register one in your name. We point that domain at my DNS, and hosting and analytics run on my side as part of your hosting and maintenance plan. If you ever want to move on, thirty days notice hands all of it back. The site runs on tools any competent developer can pick up, and the plan includes email support with a two business day reply. Hosting & Maintenance Plus and Hosting & Maintenance Pro are same day.
Do I even need a new site?
Not always. If the structure underneath is sound, a redesign or an SEO setup can do more for less money. I will tell you that on the call if it is true. Talking somebody into a rebuild they do not need is a bad way to run a business in a small town.

More answers on the pricing page, including what happens when scope changes partway through a build.
