Let's talk about your site.
A 20 minute call. No pitch. You tell me what is not working, I tell you what it costs.
Email mj@duforddigital.com or call 778-692-5555.
I reply within two business days. Pacific time.
The office
I work out of the Armstrong Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce space in the Odd Fellows Hall.
3005 Wood Ave, Armstrong, BC V4Y 0H1Weekdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.. Meetings are by appointment, so book a time before you come by.
Already a client? Leave a review. It helps other local businesses find me.
Or send a note
Four lines is enough.
Booking a call is a bigger ask than typing a few sentences. If you would rather start here, start here.
The call
What happens in twenty minutes.
You talk for the first ten minutes. What the business does, who you want more of, and what the current site is failing to do. I ask questions and take notes. There is no deck and no script.
Then I tell you what I think. Sometimes that is a build. Sometimes it is an SEO setup on the site you already have. Once in a while it is keep what you have and spend the money on something else, and I will say so, because a rebuild nobody needed is the fastest way to lose a referral in a town this size.
You leave with a price range and a rough timeline. A written quote follows, with the scope listed line by line so you can see what you are buying and what you are not.
Text is the fastest way to reach me. Email is best for anything with detail or files. Phone works during office hours, weekdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pacific. If I miss you, I call back.
The booking link shows my real calendar, so whatever you see is open. Pick a slot and it lands in both our calendars with a video link. If you would rather meet at the office in Armstrong, say so when you book and I will confirm the time.
Working with me from Vernon, Enderby, Salmon Arm, or anywhere else in BC is normal. Most projects run on video calls and email no matter how close the client is, because that is what fits around everybody's work day.
Questions
Before you book.
- What do I need to have ready?
- Nothing. Come with the problem, not a spec. If you happen to have a rough budget, a launch date, or two sites you like, bring those and the call goes faster.
- Will I get a quote on the call?
- You get a range on the call and a written quote after. The range is honest. I would rather say $12,000 to $18,000 on the phone than pretend the number is $12,000 and walk it up later.
- I am not ready to build yet. Is the call still worth it?
- Yes. Plenty of calls end with a plan for next spring and nothing else. You will leave knowing what the work costs and what order to do it in, which is useful whenever you start.
- Can you look at my current site first?
- Send the address when you book and I will have looked at it before we talk. That way the twenty minutes goes to your business instead of me clicking around.
- I am already a client. How do I send an edit?
- Email it, one edit per message. Hosting & Maintenance Plus includes two change requests a month and Hosting & Maintenance Pro includes six. Small changes usually go up the same week.
