Work

Three sites. Three sectors. All live.

Every one is live. Click through for the full story, or open the real site from each case study.

What they have in common

Three industries. One way of working.

A chamber of commerce, an organic farm, and a family clinic have almost nothing in common. The work underneath them is the same.

Each build started with a list of the pages the business needed to be found for. Not the pages the old site happened to have. The Chamber needed a page for each of its 116 members across 27 categories, because a member list buried in one long page cannot be found by anybody searching for a single business. The Health Nest needed a page for every practitioner and every service, because patients search for the person or the treatment, not for the clinic.

Fresh Valley Farms needed a shop, a pre-order pickup flow, and farm stays living on one site without confusing anyone. Three businesses, three shapes, one way of deciding what the site needs.

Every client owns their own domain, and everything I build is theirs once it is paid for. I look after the hosting, the DNS, and the analytics as part of the hosting and maintenance plan. If a client ever wants to move on, thirty days notice is all it takes, and the site, the files, and the logins go with them.

Each rebuild kept the search results the business had already earned. Old addresses point at their new pages, so years of links and citations still count. Redirects are quiet work, and they are the step that gets missed most often. When they get missed, a business can fall out of search for months.

How a client wants to edit decides what the site is built on. Some want to make their own updates, so I build in a way that lets them. Others would rather hand it to a nerd, and that is what I am here for.

Sectors

What each kind of business needs from a site.

Law and accounting firms
A page for every practice area, lawyer bios people read to the end, and a local map result. Most of the search happens on a phone, at a bad moment, and the firm that answers the question wins the call.
Health and dental clinics
A page for every service and every practitioner, plus booking that routes patients to the right schedule. Front desk time drops when the site does the sorting.
Trades and home services
Service pages written for each town you cover, fast loading on a phone in a truck, and a phone number that is never more than a thumb away.
Farms and food brands
A store, a pickup or delivery flow, and the farm story told with real photography. People buy food from people, so the site has to show them.
Associations and chambers
A directory where each member gets an indexable page, events that are simple to post, and a reason for members to renew.

Questions

Before you ask on the call.

Why only three?
Because three is what I can stand behind without explaining anything away. Every site here is live, built by me, and paid for by a client who is still a client. A page of forty logos tells you nothing about who did the work.
Will my site look like these?
No. Each one is built from that business and its brand, so a farm site and a law firm site have almost nothing in common on the surface. If you already have a brand package from a designer, I build from it. See bring your brand.
Do you build online stores?
Yes. Fresh Valley Farms sells certified organic meat online with a pre-order pickup flow. Stores run on Shopify or WooCommerce depending on how you sell and what you already use.
Can you build a member directory?
Yes. The Chamber directory holds 116 member businesses across 27 categories, each with its own page. Directories are Flagship work because of the volume, and they start at $25,000.
How long until a site like these is live?
Three to four weeks for a small site, six to eight for most, ten to fourteen for a large one with a directory or a store. Rush cuts the timeline in half for 50% over the build price.
