DDConnect Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy — DDConnect (Duford Digital Inc.)

Effective / last updated: August 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Duford Digital Inc. (“Duford Digital,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with DDConnect, a private integration used to connect our internal tools with QuickBooks Online and related Intuit services.

  1. Who this applies to
DDConnect is an internal business application operated by Duford Digital for our own accounting and operations. It is not offered as a public consumer product. If you are an authorized user of our systems (for example, a Duford Digital team member or contractor), this policy applies to your use of DDConnect.
  2. Information we collect
Depending on how DDConnect is used, we may process:
  • Account and authentication data — Intuit / QuickBooks Online OAuth tokens, company identifiers (such as realm ID), and related credentials needed to maintain the connection.
  • Accounting and business data — information retrieved from or written to QuickBooks Online on our behalf, such as expenses, vendors, receipts, invoices, customers, and reports.
  • Technical logs — basic operational logs (for example, timestamps, error messages, and connection status) used to keep the integration working reliably.
We do not sell personal information.
  1. How we use information
We use this information solely to: authenticate to QuickBooks Online and keep the connection secure; read and update accounting records for Duford Digital’s legitimate business purposes (for example, filing receipts and categorizing expenses); maintain, troubleshoot, and improve DDConnect; and comply with legal obligations.
  2. Sharing
We share information with Intuit Inc. and QuickBooks Online as needed to provide the connected accounting services under Intuit’s terms; with service providers that host or run our internal tools, only as needed to operate DDConnect; and with authorities when required by law. We do not share DDConnect data with third parties for their marketing.
  3. Retention and security
We retain credentials and related data only as long as needed to operate the QuickBooks connection and meet our recordkeeping obligations. Access tokens and refresh tokens are stored securely and rotated according to Intuit’s OAuth requirements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate for business accounting data.
  4. Your choices
Authorized users can disconnect DDConnect by revoking the app’s access in QuickBooks Online / Intuit account settings, or by asking us to remove stored credentials. Doing so will stop DDConnect from accessing QuickBooks data.
  5. International users
Duford Digital is based in Canada. Information may be processed in Canada and in other countries where our service providers or Intuit operate.
  6. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of DDConnect after an update means the revised policy applies.
