Website refresh and basic local search optimization (SEO)
Duford Digital worked with Kidston Helm Ross, a long-established law firm in Vernon, BC, to refresh and optimize their existing Wix website. The project included structural improvements, SEO updates, and a visual refresh across key pages. We reorganized the main navigation, rewrote and reformatted service pages, built a new About Us page with a custom firm timeline, and updated the Team and Community pages with new content and photography.
We implemented basic technical and local SEO strategies, which helped the site jump to page one of the search results and earn a spot in the Local Map Pack. Additional work included restoring old blog content, publishing new articles, improving homepage messaging and video performance, and resolving contact form deliverability issues.
The result is a faster, more discoverable, and easier-to-navigate site that reflects the firm’s 130+ year history and current legal services.
